Florist arranging flowers on a Thanksgiving table

What’s most important about this time of year is the opportunity to express gratitude, buuuuut... if your house and table look extra cute while doing so, even better! There are so many ways to elevate your Thanksgiving table and your home this season. We’re here to offer three rad ways to elevate them with flowers (of course!)

Three Ways to Use Flowers for Your Thanksgiving Table

1. Flowers as a Centerpiece

We know the turkey (or tofurkey) gets all the attention this holiday, but until it hits the table - your table needs a focal point, and some rich, full color and texture. Enter: flowers!

Bud Vase Arrangements

Celebrating with an intimate table for two? Opt for our cutie bud vase flower arrangements. Order one or a bunch to complement your Thanksgiving table, and enjoy the autumnal ambience your heart so desires.

These delicate flower arrangements can be placed down the middle of a long table, or clustered together in the middle of a round table setting. Try mixing sizes to create a dynamic table display for your guests!

Don't forget the common areas where your guest might spend time before or after the big meal! Bud vases are great for adding a little color to a side table or bar cart, and making small spaces feel extra festive.

Looking for something a little larger? Maybe this next style is for you...

Long + Low Arrangement

Hosting the whole crew?? Our Thanksgiving Long + Low arrangement is a show-stopping stunner designed to extend down a long table. This is a more is more pick that will gobsmack your guests as they gobble!

Our Long + Low centerpieces are designed to be just that: low enough so you can still see and talk to your guests across the table. It's like a pretty wildflower garden right smack dab in the middle of your feast.

The gorgeous seasonal blooms are the perfect conversation starter, too... in case you need something to talk about with that random cousin you haven't seen in a few years!

Classic Centerpiece

Falling somewhere in the middle? Our Thanksgiving Centerpiece is the perfect porridge, so to speak! Round and full of lush blooms, this arrangement fits a table for 4-6 perfectly. It can also be a gorgeous addition to a kitchen island or coffee table, if you're hosting a more informal dinner party.

Loving this design, but have a longer dining table? Snag two or three, or add bud vases on either side to add more floral flair!

Dried Flowers

Psst…. Wanna snag something now to enjoy all season and then feature on your Thanksgiving table? Opt for a dried bundle of fall-hued blooms that lasts virtually forever.

Our Thanksgiving Harvest Bundle goes beautifully in a vase and can be placed in the center of your round thanksgiving table or on your entryway table to greet your guests as they arrive. We create seasonal dried designs every holiday, but this year's design is one of our faves. Snag em before they're gone for the year!

2. Flowers as Adornments (that become party favors)

What do you mean you don’t set a FULL tablescape each night complete with folded napkins and place-setting toppers?!? Okay, fine, neither do we - but we can’t get enough of a fancy set up for this special dinner!

Wanna take your place setting to the next level? Add a tiny bundle of dried blooms on top of your napkins, tied with twine or ribbon, for a whimsical touch. You can personalize with colorful ribbons to match your table linens, or even place alongside a placecard for a formal table.

We sell these darling Micro Dried Wraps in our San Diego shops, but you can make your own mini flower bouquet by bundling your own dried blooms!

And the best part? You can send these home with your guests to tuck them into a bud vase! A sweet parting gift for your friends and family to enjoy long after the last piece of pie is long gone.

3. Flowers as Embellishments in Your Food and Drinks!

Flowers on your table - inspired! Flowers on your place settings - darling! Flowers on your serving platters and cocktails?? Downright magical!

Food Styling with a Floral Twist

Adding blooms to charcuteries, grazing boards, etc. is a high-end touch to styling that will absolutely blow your guests away.

Opt for three different flowers, with varying colors and textures for an ideal aesthetic; you can break the bloom heads off with your fingers, but a sharp pair of florist's snips work a lot better! For this board, we opted for marigolds, mums, and mini carnations!

Please note:

If these flowers are going to be placed AROUND your food, you can use most blooms purchased from a florist, but if they will be placed IN your food and drink, you will need to purchase from a grocer or farm that grows for consumption.

If you’re unsure of where to buy food-safe blooms, you can contact your local flower farms to see what they have available! Also, if you’re in San Diego, we love Specialty Produce and their wide variety of fresh produce. Plusssss - they deliver to your door, heaven on wheels!
